Climate change and floodplain management in Victoria

This VCCCAR sponsored Think Tank was held in Kerang in August 2011. Participants from local and state goverment agencies, flood-effected communities and researchers discussed the role of climate change in flood management and planning.

The workshop aimed to provide guidance on improving longer-term approaches for flood risk assess and to idenitfy research needs to support improved floodplain management in a changing climate.
