The Climate Change Adaptation Navigator was designed to test the concept of a web-based guidance framework to assist administrators and decision-makers in local government and other institutions to adapt to the impacts of climate change. The Navigator was produced as part of the VCCCAR research project, Framing multi-level and multi-actor adaptation responses in the Victorian context (click here for details) in collaboration with three local governments in Victoria as well as input from state government stakeholders. The Adaptation Navigator was launched at the VCCCAR Annual Forum on 25 June 2012.

It is now accessible online: www.adaptation-navigator.org.au

It is important to note the Navigator has been developed as a 'proof of concept'; it provides examples of the content that would be available to users but at this stage has only limited information and not all levels of the site have been activated. VCCCAR is working with RMIT University to explore funding options to enable the Navigator to be fully developed and maintained. VCCCAR is interested in development options for the Navigator - email at enquiries-vcccar@unimelb.edu.au
