The United Nations Association of Australia (Victorian Division) is holding a seminar on Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction: Shared Risks to Shared Values: A Business Case.

Increasing disaster risks represent a growing problem for the economic and business community. Bringing together experts and practitioners from across government, business, academia and civil society, this seminar seeks to provide the business case for disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation. It will highlight the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating climate change adaptation and disaster risk management. The seminar will also emphasize how strategic disaster risk management can create shared value for business and society.
