VCCCAR visiting fellows for 2012 and 2013 announced

Congratulations to Dr Kate Lonsdale, Senior Associate at the Stockholm Environment Institute, and Professor Jonathan Overpeck, Founding co-director of the Institute of the Environment at the University of Arizona, who have been selected to be VCCCAR’s annual visiting fellows for 2012 and 2013 respectively. 

This initiative aims to attract outstanding scholars and academics that can make a significant contribution to our research agenda and actively promote international research initiatives with their home institution.  

Kate will commence an 11 week fellowship in October 2012 and Jonathan will commence a three month fellowship in January 2013. They will be expected to work collaboratively across partner universities and engage with government agencies and non government stakeholders to disseminate adaptation best practice according to their areas of expertise.
