The Hon. Gavin Jennings, Victoria's Minister for Environment and Climate Change, launched the inaugural Annual Forum for the Victorian Centre for Climate Change Adaptation Research (VCCCAR) on 28 April 2010 at the Treetops Gallery in the Melbourne Museum. The Forum provided an opportunity for VCCCAR partner universities and stakeholders to report on the milestones in the Centre’s first year of operation and to canvas issues and opportunities for future research on climate change adaptation issues to the Victorian Government and community. The Forum included keynote presentations and contributions from representatives from VCCCAR’s partner universities, leading research organisations and from state and commonwealth government agencies.
