Climate services for adaptation in Victoria

This Think Tank, held on 13 July 2012, brought together 40 participants from the Bureau of Meteorology, Victorian State Government departments, local government, research and academic institutions and industry users of climate information. The goals were to:

• assess the current situation on climate information and adaptation
• build a greater common understanding of the expectations of climate information users and the capacity of information providers in providing information for adaptation to climate change
• provide recommendations for policy and guidance for research on improved climate services in a changing climate.
